As confirmed in 2026-27 Budget, the ACT Government is funding upgrades to Chisholm Shops' public spaces and infrastructure to improve parking, pedestrian safety, public amenities and landscaping. The planned changes, that were originally announced in ACT Labor's Plan for Tuggeranong, will focus on the car park areas, roads and Government-owned assets that surround the shopping precinct. These upgrades do not include the privately-owned playground or shops.
To ensure any changes are informed by community consultation, I have created the Chisholm Shops Upgrade Survey. This survey is the best place to send through any ideas you have. I want to know what is most important to you and what the Government can do to ensure Chisholm Shops continues to serve the needs of the community into the future.
As your local member, I will do everything in my power to advocate on your behalf and deliver the results you expect. As part of that process, every survey collected will underpin my final recommendation report which will be provided directly to the Minister of City and Government Services and the project's planning and design teams.
